
A Barrow man is set to appear in court today, charged with money laundering and drugs offences, following police raids.
Paul Maggs, 30, of Roose Road, was charged by detectives for offences of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and money laundering.
He was arrested following a Community Serious and Organised Crime (CSOC) operation in Barrow yesterday, Thursday, May 15.
Officers made the early morning arrest and subsequently carried out property searches.
Maggs is due to appear before Furness Magistrates Court today, Friday May 16.
The arrest and charge forms part of CSOC’s new Operation Axbridge, which focuses on targeting serious and organised criminals in the Westmorland and Furness area.
