The team responded to and helped with three incidents on Friday May 16, alongside other emergency services.
The first call-out saw the team assist Cumbria police with the location and evacuation of a casualty from the beach at North Shore in Whitehaven.
In a second call out of the day, the Coastguard team were sent to West Cumberland Hospital, to help secure the helicopter landing site for the Coastguard rescue helicopter, which was transporting a casualty from a callout with Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team.
Whitehaven Coastguard undertook a sweep of the area to ensure there was no debris and manned the site, assisting with casualty transfer from the helicopter to the ambulance.
Coastguard team members provided support in the search alongside the Coastguard rescue helicopter from Caernarfon.
