An upturned kayak prompted a three-hour search in the Lake District.
Emergency services were called out on Friday May 16, to the report of an upturned kayak in Thirlmere reservoir by a concerned member of the public.
Cumbria police, Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service, Keswick Mountain Rescue Team, Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team and the North West Ambulance Service attended.
The search for any potential missing person lasted three hours, but nobody was located.
