An accessible outdoor adventure charity is asking people to go on a midsummer cruise in the Lake District to help it raise vital funds.

The Calvert Trust is partnering with Ullswater Steamers to host a special midsummer evening cruise aboard the MV Raven on Wednesday June 18.

All money raised from the event will go straight to the trust – which supports people with disabilities to access outdoor adventure and enjoy all the Lake District has to offer.

Hannah Richardson, chair of the trust, said: “We are delighted and excited to be once again supported by Ullswater Steamers to offer our supporters a cruise on beautiful Ullswater.

“We hope that people familiar with the work of Calvert will book, as well as people new to our brilliant organisation.

“All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Lake District Calvert Trust, enabling us to continue providing life-changing outdoor adventures for people living with disabilities.”

The two hour cruise departs from Glenridding Pier House at 6.30pm, Wednesday 18 June. Tickets cost £30 per person and include a glass of fizz and canapés. To book, visit https://calvertlakes.org.uk/fundraise-for-us/
