A man has been jailed for three years and nine months for multiple drug offences in the Kendal area.
Ross Coates, 29, of no fixed abode, was jailed for four drug offences and one weapon offence, including:
- Being concerned in the supply of cocaine
- Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (methamphetamine)
- Two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug (ketamine)
- Two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis)
- Two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place
Officers from Cumbria’s community serious and organised crime unit carried out an extensive investigation including a series of warrants, which identified Coates as a supplier of a number of Class A and B drugs in the Kendal area.
A spokesperson from the unit said: “We are pleased with the result today which has resulted the chain of supply and also taken a number of harmful drugs and weapons off the streets.
“Drug supply is a blight on our communities, and we work proactively to identify those involved in drug supply at every level.”
