
A van fire at Appleby Horse Fair is not being treated as suspicious at this time, said police.
Emergency services were called to the trade field yesterday, June 7, at around 11.40am.
The fire involved a Ford Transit van.
Police and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service attended, with fire crews extinguishing the fire – which did not spread beyond the vehicle – by noon.

Cumbria police said: “The cause of the fire is not being treated as suspicious at time.”
Nobody was injured in the incident.
