An evening inspired by popular TV show The Traitors will raise cash for the Great North Air Ambulance.
It will be held on Thursday July 10 at Muncaster Castle and guests will take part in challenges attempting to thwart and identify Turncoats, secretly working to undermine the group and eliminate players.
Turncoat has been organised by Emma Jayne Gooch, of Plain Purpose, who decided to step up to the challenge after hearing from the charity at a Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster meeting. The cluster has chosen the service as its charity of the year.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service is facing a significant funding challenge, with donations down on last year but no reduction in the call on their life-saving services.
Emma-Jayne said: “The Great North Air Ambulance Service provides critical, often lifesaving, care to thousands of people each year.
“We wanted to create an event that was not only fun and engaging but also boosted their funds. The Turncoat Event offers a truly unique experience, allowing people to enjoy a fantastic night out while knowing they are making a tangible difference to a charity that saves lives every single day.”
In addition to the challenges, guests will enjoy a welcome drink, steak dinner and dessert.
Kate Wilson, of Business Toolbox Cumbria, has donated her time to design marketing materials, and the team at BECBC is also supporting the event with
promotion to their extensive network and provision of the booking portal.
Tickets are £85 each or £850 for a table of 10. All proceeds go to the air ambulance service.
