A Lake District spa is in the running for two prestigious national awards.

The Falls Spa at Lodore Falls Hotel is a semi-finalist in the Best Destination Spa and Sustainable Champion categories in the prestigious BABTAC & CIBTAC Awards 2025.

It is the first time The Falls Spa, in the Borrowdale Valley, near Keswick, has been recognised in these awards.

The Falls Spa launched six years ago and 2025 has already seen it named winner of Best Destination Spa in the 2025 Good Spa Guide, given a 5-Bubble Rating from the Good Spa Guide and being a finalist in the Hotel Magazine Awards for Best Spa & Wellness Venue category.

Spa manager Cara O’Neill said: “We’re thrilled to be recognised by BABTAC — for not one but two awards, especially for our very first nomination. Our team puts their heart into delivering exceptional spa experiences, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see that passion acknowledged on a national level.”

British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology and CIBTAC Awards are considered the gold standard in the UK beauty and wellness industry — celebrating innovation, excellence, and unforgettable guest experiences.

Winners will be announced in November.
