A man has appeared in court charged with a number of offences, including strangulation and assault.
Police issued a wanted appeal earlier this week for Coban Cleaver, 20.
Cleaver, of no fixed address, has appeared at Barrow Magistrates Court today, Thursday July 3, charged with intentional strangulation, criminal damage and two counts of assaulting police officers.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on August 1.
