The weather has intervened again in the weekend pigeon racing programme.
Because of the poor forecast the race is taking place from Marlborough today.
The birds were marked last night before being transported to Wiltshire and they were liberated this morning at 6.25am in a light west wind turning south west in the midlands.
It is a Cumbria Combine race but only a small entry is expected, with no West Cumberland Federation fanciers sending.
