Cumbria Health has been named among the best social enterprises in the UK.
The primary health care organisation, which supports GP out-of-hours and urgent dental care to prison health care and remote rural coverage, features in the NatWest SE100 Index.
The list highlights inspiring social enterprises in the country, based on positive social impact, growth, and achievements over the past year.
The SE100 list is compiled annually by Pioneers Post in partnership with NatWest Social & Community Capital, and showcases organisations that are using business as a force for good, tackling social and environmental challenges while delivering sustainable impact in their communities.
Susan Blakemore, Cumbria Health chief executive, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised. This achievement is a reflection of our team’s unwavering commitment to improving access to high-quality primary care and urgent care services across Cumbria.
“We are proud to be delivering healthcare with purpose, compassion and community at its heart.
“We’re honoured to stand alongside so many remarkable organisations making a tangible difference in their communities. Being part of the SE100 inspires us to continue innovating, collaborating and advocating for health equity across the region.”
