
Wednesday saw a 4 grade meeting take place at Redmain where 55 hounds turned out on the night.
In the Seniors, seven took to the trail. Silver Dream for Darren and Julie McMaster and Anthony Skelton was the favourite.
Reports came in from Wardhall were the hounds crossed the road after roughly 7 minutes of running and Foxparke Honk Honk for Robyn, Ellie, Grace and Nicola Napier and Brooke Butler was leading the way from Silver Dream with Busy Again for Alan Blacklock and Carole Harrison.
The hounds can be seen from the trail field going through the fields after 12 minutes of running and Silver Dream was back at the front with Foxparke Honk Honk in second, Malfunction for Sarah White in third and Baroness Ava for James and Ava McClellan in fourth.
As they showed onto the finish Silver Dream and Busy Again had a small advantage on Malfunction.
Once jumping the last fence Silver Dream and Busy Again had a race to the line with Silver Dream getting the win by 3 lengths from Busy Again and Malfunction in third.
The Pups saw a field of 13 lining up at the slip. Huntsman’s Unite for Denise and Jenny Bland, and Graham Little and Tucker for Nicola McMaster and Anthony Skelton were sent off as joint favourites.

Leading the way was Silver Star for Darren and Julie McMaster and Sadie Wilson ahead of I Am It for Ruth Graham and Charlie Dixon with Affirmation for Andrew Bullman, Laura Steele and Gary Woodend in third and Pied Piper for Tanya Sattherwaite in fourth.
As they showed onto the finish Silver Star was still heading the race from Maggie for Les and Graham Reid, Erin Rowlandson, Barbara Jones and Steven Walker. Jumping the last fence Maggie claimed the win from I Am It with long time leader Silver Star in third.
Seventeen hounds were slipped in the Open Maidens. Croft Lass for Carole, Stanley and Sarah Jackson, Ricky Deacon and Donald Hodgson was sent off as the favourite.

As the hounds passed the trail field Croft Lass was leading from Ruby for Stephen Riley and Isla Hetherington with Miterdale Green Queen for Sophie Steele, Zach and Jake Green in third, We Get By for Sarah White in fourth, Meadow Lane for Paul and Joanne Airey in fifth and Thorn Thunder for Joanna, Martin, Molly and Teddy Burrows in sixth.
As they showed onto the finish Croft Lass had the advantage and came on to win by 20 yards from Ruby, with a small gap to Meadow Lane in third.

The final trail of the evening was the All-In where 18 lined up at the slip. Foxparke Fairlady for Robyn, Ellie, Grace, and Nicola Napier had a 10-yard lead on kennel mate and litter mate Foxparke Majesty with Thornton for Darren McMaster, Sadie Wilson and Anthony Skelton in third and another kennel mate and litter mate Foxparke Sidekick in fourth.
As they jumped the fence onto the finish Thornton did his signature “jumping of the line” to win by 2 lengths from Foxparke Sidekick in second and Foxparke Fairlady in third.
