A motorcyclist has died after a collision near Carlisle.
The incident, which also involved a car, happened on the B5307, near Fingland, west of the city yesterday, July 11, at around 4.45pm.
Cumbria police said: “Despite the best efforts of members of the public and medical staff, the motorcyclist – a man – was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Police are asking for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to officers to contact them.
They should do so quoting incident 185 of July 11.
