A warning has been issued after three youngsters were spotted on a Cumbrian fire station roof.
Longtown Fire Station said it has received reports about three young people on its roof at around 4.30pm yesterday, Thursday August 7.
It said: “Please have a word with your kids about safety as a fall from that height could well be fatal.
“While its the summer holidays and the youngsters get a bit bored, things like this are not a good substitute.
“We will happily find them a football to blow out some energy rather than have to get heavy or involve the law for their own safety.
“When they hit 18 we will teach them to work at height properly and they can serve their community at the same time!”
