A nuisance neighbour has been warned by police over their anti-social behaviour.
Eden Police said officers from its Neighbourhood Policing Team had served a community protection warning on a resident of Meadow Close in Appleby following a number of incidents.
It said there had been several reports of high levels of noise nuisance, anti-social behaviour, drug use, driving vehicles anti-socially and using a drone likely to cause nuisance or annoyance to others in the vicinity of the address.
Officers served the notice yesterday, Thursday August 21.
It added: “We have been working closely with the local focus hub, including Westmorland and Furness Council and housing provider Home Group to try and tackle these issues.”
A community protection warning is a written warning and is the first stage before a community protection notice can be issued and is an opportunity to address issues without formal sanctions, but it cannot be appealed.
