
A person was airlifted to hospital after falling in St Bees.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service said it was called to the West Cumbrian village at around 4.15pm yesterday, Sunday August 31.
It said: “We had a paramedic and doctor on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 4.46pm.
“Our team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient and airlifted them to hospital.”
