Carlisle Fireshow 2024

The date for Carlisle’s 2025 Fireshow has been announced.

It will be held on Saturday November 1 in the city’s Bitts Park.

The event, organised by Cumberland Council, will start at 6.30pm and will celebrate the area’s maritime heritage.

There will be centrepiece bonfire and more than 2,000 fireworks set to music will also light up the sky.

It will be the 36th fireshow in Bitts Park and attracts over 35,000 people.

This year’s event is organised with Merlin Fireworks Ltd.

The event includes a funfair in Castle car park (formerly known as Devonshire Walk car park) during October half term.

A Taste Cumbria producers’ market will also be held in the cathedral grounds on Saturday November 1 and Sunday November 2.

On the day of the fireshow, there will be no funfair, but there will be food and family entertainment to those attending the Fireshow in Castle Car Park between 5pm and 8.30pm.

Admission to the Fireshow is free.

It is a family event, and no alcohol will be permitted on site or within the Fireshow Village in Castle car park.

The overall events programme has been supported by the Government using UKSPF funding.
