A bright young future entrepreneur from Keswick School has been awarded the Lamont Pridmore Business Studies Student Award for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Marcus Dean was selected by his teachers, who were impressed by his commitment to the subject and his ability to connect theory with real-world business practice.

Marcus’s teachers described him as highly motivated and said they were confident he would thrive as he progresses to A-level business.

The award was presented to Marcus by Philip Pridmore, of Lamont Pridmore’s Keswick office.

Philip said: “On behalf of everyone at Lamont Pridmore, I’d like to congratulate Marcus on his fantastic achievement.

“His determination and enthusiasm for business studies are evident and make him a deserving recipient of this award.

“At Lamont Pridmore, we are passionate about supporting the next generation of business leaders.

“Recognising young people like Marcus is a privilege, and we hope this award encourages him to keep exploring, learning and taking on new challenges.”

“As one of Cumbria’s leading accountancy firms, Lamont Pridmore remains committed to championing young people with an interest in business, helping to nurture the skills that will help them succeed in the business sector.

“We look forward to watching Marcus build on this success and achieve even more in the future.”
