People can find out how to help hedgehogs this winter at a free event in West Cumbria.
Melbreak Hedgehog Recovery project is running a fostering and overwintering training session at Loweswater Village Hall on Wednesday, September 24, at 7.30pm.
People who would like to learn more and are interested in joining a local network of hedgehog fosterers, can attend and discover what’s involved!
The session will be led by experienced hedgehog fosterer, Tanya St Pierre, of Melbreak Wildlife Group who, working with Millcroft Vets and other hedgehog carers, rescues and rehabilitates injured, sick or juvenile hedgehogs.
The event is free, but donations are welcome to help hedgehogs in the area.
