Police are investigating an assault in Workington, which involved a report of a man pushing a woman up against a wall.
It happened on Church Road, Harrington on September 12.
A member of the public approached the woman, asking if she was okay.
Cumbria police are appealing for the witness to come forward.
The woman did not suffer any injuries.
A man was arrested and is currently bailed pending further enquiries.
