
It’s a big weekend for Hensingham who have emerged this season as one of West Cumbria’s most progressive clubs.
Tonight their A team take on Kells A in the Division One Top Four final.
Then tomorrow the first team travel to St Helens to take on Clock Face Miners in the National Conference Division Two play-off semi-final.
Head coach Kris Coward believes the club will have two good teams on the field for the games and is optimistic about the outcomes.
Hensingham only moved up to Division Two this season after clinching promotion last year.
Coward believes they are good enough to make another step forward, and would really like to be playing in Division One next year when there would be local derby clashes with both Kells and Egremont.
