Plans are in the pipeline to move a Lake District town’s Post Office after its current postmaster resigned.
Bowness-on-Windermere’s Post Office is currently at St Martin’s Parade, but following the postmaster stepping down, the company wants to move the branch to the Spar on Rayrigg Road.
There would be one serving point at the retail counter and the same range of Post Office services would be available apart from passport services.
It said a new operator has been appointed to run the Post Office.
The Post Office said people can tell it what it thinks about the plan and the opportunity to give feedback will close on November 7.
Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 233418.
