A group of Cumbrian dancers took part in a performance at Disneyland Paris.
Students of Razzamataz Carlisle & West Cumbria performed in the iconic Disney pre-parade as part of the theatre school’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The trip was a highly anticipated return to Disneyland Paris for team, following a hugely successful visit in 2017. A planned 2020 trip was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Debbie Hyslop, principal of Razzamataz Theatre Schools Carlisle, said: “Being part of this incredible celebration has been such a rewarding experience for our students and their families.
“The chance to perform in such an iconic place after so much anticipation has created memories they will cherish forever.”
Matthew Aitchison-Rayson, principal of Razzamataz West Cumbria, added: “We are passionate about giving all our students exciting experiences that inspire confidence and creativity, experiences that will shape them for life.”

Margaret Whitfield Bott, parent of Razzamataz West Cumbria student Hannah, said: “Disney is always so much fun, but then you add our kids performing in the pre-parade all the way along the parade route, especially down Main Street with the castle in the background, that is where the magic happens.
“Hannah is still talking about it even now, and have to admit so am I.
“There seemed to be a camaraderie with not only the students but the parents too, everyone being there to celebrate Razzamataz and the magic that unfolded. An experience all the students, teachers and families will never forget.”
