Plans to rebuild West Cumbrian homes damaged in a suspected gas explosion have been lodged with Cumberland Council.
Hugh Street on Bransty, Whitehaven, was rocked by the explosion on New Year’s Eve.
Three people were seriously injured.
Following the incident on the street of terraced homes, a partial demolition of 27 and 28 Hugh Street was carried out for safety reasons.
Last month, plans to rebuild 27 Hugh Street were submitted to Cumberland Council.
This application, for 28 Hugh Street, is for further demolition and to replace it with a new home.
