A Haverigg holiday let is on the market for £895,000.

Herdwick Holiday Home overlooks Port Haverigg lake, a popular watersports destination.

The property was acquired by its current owners in 2016. It operated as a bistro with rooms until 2022, when it became a second home and holiday let which can sleep up to 14 people.

It is being marketed by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co as the owners look to retire.

The house operated as a popular bistro/bar with rooms until 2022 and was a regular spot for guests staying at holiday parks in the surrounding area. In 2022 the property became a second home and holiday let which can sleep up to 14 guests.

The current owners said: “We have loved owning Herdwicks for the last 10 years. We have so many fond memories from our time here and we are thrilled that the feedback from guests is that they have all loved it as well.”

Graham Wilkinson, business agent for Christie & Co, added: “As the owners of Herdwicks look to retire and pursue new interests, this is a great opportunity for a new owner to acquire a superb property, with amazing coastal views, just a few minutes’ drive to the hills and lakes of the Lake District.

“Herdwicks is ideal as a holiday let investment property or alternatively would suit those seeking an owner-operated lifestyle business.”
