Plans are in the pipeline to revamp Kendal’s Market Place.
The proposals are part of the £13m Heart of Kendal scheme, funded by the Government.
No final designs for Market Place have been drawn up and Westmorland & Furness Council want people to help shape the final project.
An online survey has been launched and is open until Monday November 10.
People can take part in the survey at https://consult.westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk/south-lakeland-district-council/kendal-market-place/
The Heart of Kendal programme also includes:
- Repurposing the Westmorland Shopping Centre and provide new education accommodation, creating a third campus for Kendal College
- Regenerating and reimagining Kendal’s indoor market hall
- Creating improved active travel routes along the riverside corridor
