Height restriction bars at a Kirkby Stephen car park have been damaged – and police believe youngsters hanging off it are to blame.
Cumbria police said they were investigating the damage at Christian Head car park, caused on October 21.
They said it was believed that children had been hanging on the barrier which caused the chains to snap from the sign.
