Police have issued a CCTV image of a person in connection with a theft from a shop in a West Cumbrian town.

The incident was reported to have happened on Workington’s Pow Street on Wednesday October 8 at about 10.30am.

Police said they would like to speak to the person pictured as part of their investigation – and are asking people if they know who they are.

Officers said they were also keen to speak to another person, a white man, about 5ft 10ins to 6ft, with a short dark beard and short dark hair, who was wearing a black-and-grey tracksuit with black tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Anyone who recognises the person pictured, the person described – or who has any information about the incident – should contact police via www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it quoting incident 93 of October 8 or call 101.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
