Emergency services were called after reports of a man trapped in a house in Penrith.
Police, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Ambulance Service were called to the address after reports of a male trapped in the address, fire alarm sounding and smoke coming from the building.
They were called yesterday, Monday, November 10.
Eden police said: “Luckily, the male in the property had just burnt his dinner and everything was fine.
“Multi agency working at its finest, although we couldn’t do anything for the male and his burnt dinner.”
