Two people have been injured in a South Cumbrian collision.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision on the A590 Dalton bypass today, Tuesday November 11, at around 8.50am.
It involved a black Range Rover and white Hyundai i10.
Officers have since confirmed a child has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who was in the area at the time and may have relevant dashcam that can assist the investigation, to contact them.
The road was closed in both directions.
