Kendal’s Manna House has been supported by a town supermarket.
The town’s Morrisons store had £100 to donate to a local organisation as part of the firm’s national Tackling Loneliness This Christmas.
This year, the store chose to support Manna House, which provides essential support for vulnerable and homeless people across the area.
The donation will help Manna House host a festive gathering for those who may otherwise spend the season alone.
Rachel Latham, community champion at Kendal Morrisons, said: “We’re proud to be supporting Manna House this Christmas.
“The work they do in Kendal is invaluable, and we’re pleased to help bring a little warmth and community spirit to those who may otherwise feel isolated during the festive season.”
