An appeal to find wanted people in Cumbria has been a success for police – with only one person left to find.

Cumbria police issued their Wanted this Winter appeal on December 1, featuring 12 people who officers wanted to track down.

In an update today, Thursday December 18, they said a 28-year-old man and a 33-year-old man had been arrested – bringing the total arrests to 10 and one of the people was found.

It means the last person police are looking for is Jordan Aston, 29.

He is wanted in connection with a robbery following an incident on September 23.

Police said he had links to Barrow

At the launch of the appeal, Detective Inspector Dave Howard, Cumbria Constabulary, said: “We have had officers out in our communities looking for these individuals and public information always will be important in assisting our work to ensure we secure justice for victims.

“People in Cumbria know where these individuals are. Please pick up the phone and contact Cumbria police or do so anonymously via Crimestoppers.”

Anyone with any information is asked to report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it or call 101.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
