The A595 near Workington has reopened following a collision this morning.
The road in the Winscales area, near Oily’s, at Lillyhall was closed in both directions from the Bridgefoot roundabout to the Lillyhall roundabout.
The collision was reported at around 7.35am today, Wednesday December 17.
National Highways said the road reopened at around 2.15pm.
A motorcyclist suffered life-changing injuries in the collision.
The biker, in his 40s, was involved in the collision with a car.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision.
The car driver suffered minor injuries.
