
Police found £100,000 of cannabis when officers stopped a vehicle on the M6.
A man appeared in Carlisle Magistrates Court in connection with the find.
Detectives from Westmorland and Furness’s Community and Serious Organised Crime team charged Mantas Sulman, 35, of Fortress Road, Norfolk.
He was stopped by officers on the motorway near Penrith on Wednesday, December 17.
Upon a search of his vehicle, officers found 10kg of cannabis with a potential street value of £100,000.
Sulman was charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
