A body has been found in Sedbergh following the search for a man who had not returned to prison.
Cumbria police said officers had received a call at 2.05pm today, Thursday January 22, from a member of the public.
The body was found at Holme Knott.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time, police said.
The family of John Hosker, who died return to Haverigg Prison and was reported missing on January 8, have been informed.
