
Five people have been arrested after police raids in a West Cumbrian town.
Officers swooped on four addresses in Whitehaven yesterday, January 15, led by Cumberland Serious and Organised Crime (CSOC).
The warrants were supported by Cumberland CID, Area Intelligence unit, Tactical Support Group, Civil Nuclear Constabulary Dog Section and Whitehaven Neighbourhood Policing Team.
On Rutland Avenue where a 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs.
A Sur-Ron bike was also seized at the property.
On Lincoln Road, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs.
On Burnmoor Avenue, a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs.
On Cumberland Road, a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs.
All have been released under investigation.
