Firefighters have been called to a small blaze involving a wind turbine in South Cumbria.
Crews from Ulverston Blue Light Hub, Barrow Fire Station, Coniston Fire Station and Broughton Fire Station were called at around 3.10pm today, Wednesday January 21, to Kirkby Moor, near Kirkby-in-Furness.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said: “Crews are currently working with the turbine operator to extinguish the fire and make the scene safe.
“There is no risk to the public.”
