
A man was due to appear in court after a drugs raid in Penrith.
Police carried out a warrant in the early morning at an address on Albert Street yesterday, Wednesday February 18.
Officers from Eden’s Neighbourhood Policing team and Westmorland and Furness’s Community and Serious Organised Crime were assisted by officers from the Dogs Section, Operational Support and Intel.
In the property, officers located and seized £1,500-worth of cocaine and other drugs paraphernalia.
Sam Moore, 34, of no fixed abode, was arrested and has been charged with:
- Being concerned in the supply of cocaine
- Possession with intent to supply cocaine
- Possession of cannabis/cannabis resin
- Assault ABH
- Criminal damage
He is due to appear before Barrow Magistrates Court yesterday, Thursday February 19.
