A brick thrown off a West Cumbrian village bridge has hit and damaged a vehicle driving underneath.
Allerdale Police said they were called to Seaton, near Workington, yesterday, Thursday February 26.
Four youths were seen running away from the area after the incident.
Allerdale Police said: “It is extremely dangerous, very disappointing and somewhat mindless that some individuals thought it was a good idea to drop a brick off the bridge onto the roof of the passing vehicle.
“It is sheer luck that the brick did not hit the windscreen nor injure the driver or pedestrians.
“If you were one of those youths or if one of the youths belong to you, we would be delighted to speak with them in person at Workington police station.”
