With the Maryport Darts League title already decided last week the Miners took on Sun Dial A who were hoping to earn second place.
The Miners took the lead via Jason Bowe but Adam Palmer made it 1-1 before the returning Mark Sloan, missing for the last few games, put the Miners back in front at 2-1.
But it was all square when Willy Edger took the fourth leg before Mark Pearson and Steven Ostle both won to make it 4-2 to the champions.
Graham Hewitt and Palmer won the first double and Foster and Edger then made it 4-4.
Pearson and Ostle again put the Prospect side in front before Jason and Darren Bowe alongside Sloan secured the victory for the champions and the game finished 6-5 with Sun Dial taking the last treble through Edger, Richards and Boardman. Willy Richards hit a maximum 180 in the trebles.
Miners had another game to play as they took on the Bowling Club Babes and ran out 11-0 winners with the highlight being Mark Sloan’s 14 dart leg including a maximum 180.
Silloth Bowling Club secured second place on leg difference with a 6-5 win at home against Sun Dial B.
Dan Redman, Joe Redman, Jimmy Pattinson, with 110 checkout, and James Critchlow put them 4-0 up before Martin Bell gave Dial B hope. However it was 14-year-old Jayden Carruthers who stole the show with his first league victory to make it 5-1.
Dial B didn’t give up, though, and made it 5-5 winning all the doubles with Ralph Palmer and Jon Collister; Ged Bates and Martyn Bell and then Martin Bell and Shane Tyson in good form.

The final leg decided the game and it was Critchlow, Trev Frith and his son Ronnie Frith that made it 6-5.
Bowling Club A v Elbra was also a close game as Dan Sewell and Steven Sewell both won their singles ahead of Aaron Lister, Harvey Middleton, Daz Barnes and Dan Johnston putting Elbra 4-2 ahead.
Dan Sewell and Dan Thompson took the first double and then Foster, Matt Burns and Steven Sewell made it 4-4.
Danny Stewart and Jay Thompson then put the Bowling club 5-4 in front but Elbra rallied, winning both trebles to claim the victory.
Sun Inn A hosted Glasson Rangers and it was the visitors who took the first two points as Axl Day and Scott Heaney won in fine style. However Matty McCartney, Mikey Allan, Jayden Faulder and Zane Alderson all won the next four singles to put the Aspatria side 4-2 in front.

Glasson then won all the doubles and trebles to do the double over the Sun Inn by taking the match 7-4.
Olly Lowes, Gary Austin, Nathan Bowness and Finley Maguire made up the rest of the Rangers team, while Mackenzie Sutton made his League debut for the Sun Inn A and was unlucky not to get a win.
Sun Dial A also played a second game and they took on Sun Inn Arrows with both sides hoping results elsewhere could help them get second place.
Woody Lukeman put the Arrows in front but Paul Foster and Willy Richards made it 2-1 to Dial A before Wayne Southward, Matt Glencross and Kenneth Bowes put the Arrows in control at 4-2.

Woody and Mark Harris made it 5-2, high-lighted by Harris with 120 checkout and the Arrows seemed almost certain to claim the victory.
Willy Richards and Graham Hewitt pulled one back, though, and when Adam Palmer and Willy Edger took the last double to make it 5-4 the comeback was on.
Sun Dial took both trebles to win 6-5 with Adam Palmer getting off with a 152 to put the pressure on in the final treble.
