
A north Cumbrian road will be closed for up to three weeks for resurfacing.
Cumberland Council said work started on the B5299 at Welton, near Wigton, yesterday, Monday March 2.
There will be no access for vehicles during working hours of 7am to 7pm.
Diversion routes are in place.
Emergency services, pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists will have access at all times.
Resident access will be restricted during working hours, but traffic marshals will assist where possible.
Refuse collections will continue when safe to do so.
