A man has been arrested after reports that children were targeted by a person with a slingshot.
Cumbria police said officers were investigating the incident which happened in the afternoon of Saturday, March 14, at the Beacon in Penrith.
It was reported that a man was using a slingshot to fire rocks at children. No one was injured during the incident.
A 51-year-old man from Penrith was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been released on bail.
