Winger Jake Dickinson has earned his spurs with Workington Town and earned a contract for the rest of the Championship season.
The 24-year-old Dickinson, an England Students international, signed for Town at the end of February on a trial basis.
He played National Conference rugby league in 2024 for Thatto Heath and spent last season with Newcastle Thunder while he was studying at Northumbria University.
He was named Most Improved Player of the Year last September.
Dickinson is Town’s current top scorer with six tries in his five games, although four came in the home win against Salford.
