A West Cumbrian arts organisation has announced it will now have a new home.
Handpicked Productions has been operating from the top floor of Phoenix Court in Cleator Moor since 2024.
It will now move to the ground floor of building, allowing it to expand its arts provision.
Handpicked has been delivering a successful creative programme for families for over two years, including school holiday workshops through SumArt To Do and weekly term-time sessions for young people through Art Gyms.
Most recently, they brought together audiences of all ages for The Mid-Winter Hullabaloo, a seasonal celebration of craft, music and theatre.
The project saw the team working with local schools and community groups in Cleator Moor, Moresby and Egremont.
Director Anne Timpson said: “We are really pleased to be moving into our new home in the newly developed Phoenix Court buildings.
“The space will enable us to deliver a more varied and ambitious programme, and being located next to the library gives us a great opportunity to connect with more people in the community.
“We would like to thank Paul and his team at Phoenix Youth for their support and for hosting our workshops to date.
“We look forward to this next chapter.”
A public opening is planned for May 16 alongside its Sekers fabric sale, between 11am and 4pm.
Art Gyms for young people aged 10 to 16 will be among the first workshops to take place in the new venue, starting on Monday April 20 and running weekly during term time from 6pm to 8pm.
