
A search has been launched for two people who helped a woman who was injured in an assault outside a Barrow pub.
A 60-year-old man has been arrested after the incident, which happened on Wednesday, April 22, outside the Ormsgill Inn on Park Road.
Officers said it happened at some point between 4pm and 7pm and they were looking for two people who helped the 40-year-old woman.
She was unconscious on the ground and after they helped her, they took her to the chemist on Ainslie Street in their car.
The victim sustained injuries to her eye and head including swelling and bruising.
The man, from Barrow, was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and released on bail.
