Over 200 cars attended Wigton Motor Club’s Drive It Day.

Drive It Day is an annual event co-ordinated across the UK by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs.

Wigton Motor Club’s event at Dalemain, near Penrith, saw vehicles from across the North, ranging in age from 1923 to 2010.

Owners are asked to donate £5 per car to charity. Wigton Motor Club picks two local charities to support each year.

This year they are the Sunbeam’s Music Trust near Penrith and the Freedom Project in West Cumbria.

Drive It Day brought in £1,000 in donations and there will be further fundraising during the year with a presentation in November.
