Plans are in the pipeline for a wagon pull charity challenge this autumn.
Kevin Kirkby and Andrew Woodhouse are organising their 26th vehicle pull and are recruiting volunteers.
The challenge will see a team of 78 pull a 11.5 ton wagon from Devils Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale for 10-and-a-half miles to Busk Lane in Sedbergh on October 4.
The organisers are looking for volunteers.
All money raised will be split between the Samaritans, Cancer Research and the Rawthey Project, a local team supporting and helping veterans who have fallen on hard times.
