A road in a West Cumbrian village will be closed for four days from Monday for roadworks.
Cumberland Council said work was due to start on the B5289 at Low Lorton, near Cockermouth, from Monday May 11.
Planned improvements include carriageway repairs, drainage improvements and reinstating the road markings.
The road will be closed between 7.30am and 6pm each day.
Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will still be able to pass through the area and waste and recycling collections will continue as normal.
Any temporary changes to bus stops will be clearly displayed at affected locations, and passengers are advised to contact Stagecoach directly for further route information.
