A north Cumbrian road is set to be closed for 10 days for maintenance work.
Cumberland Council said contractors were set to start on Monday, May 18, on the road between Highland View and Silversyke, near Boltonfellend, north of Carlisle.
The work is expected to last for 10 working days, subject to weather conditions and site requirements.
A diversion route will be in place.
Working hours will be between 8am and 4pm each day.
During the work, access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will still be able to pass through the area and waste collections and school transport services will continue as normal.
