A three-month closure order has been granted for a West Cumbrian home plagued by anti-social behaviour and disorder.
The property, at Mill Hill in Cleator Moor, was initially closed down by police on February 19 for three months following concerns raised by people in the area.
Copeland Neighbourhood Policing Team said there had been extensive reports of anti-social behaviour.
A closure order bans access to a property.
On Monday, magistrates granted a further three-month order.
Inspector Mike Hird, of Copeland Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Such orders are not considered lightly, and these are robust measures used to deal with prolific and persistent issues.
“These orders can be used on private houses, social houses and even businesses who choose to actively engage in persistent disorder and ASB.
“The period of the closure order will allow the local community to have a reprieve from this behaviour as wider partnership working continues to address longer term solutions.”
